Marvel reveals Superior Iron Man details

Futurist Tony Stark is about to make a big mistake. The former alcoholic has been through a lot in the past couple of years, but it seems like the new scenario that he will be thrust into the midst of, is changing his views again. In November’s Superior Iron Man, the technologist will change his vision after an accident that caused a large population of San Francisco to gain access to the violent extremes tech. Mashable announced the news, and also shared that the Superior Iron Man will be up against some of his greatest allies such as Daredevil. The site also mentioned that the comic will take the place of an Iron Man ongoing series, and will also feature the hero moving up to Daredevil’s new home San Francisco. There is no word yet on the length of the run of the tale written and drawn by Marvel up-and-comers Tom Taylor and Yildiray Cinar, respectively. This story also spins out of the Avengers & X-Men: AXIS event from Marvel Comics. This means that Tony Stark is under the suit in the Superior Iron Man--Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso confirms the identity of the hero:
What we’re doing here is a little different — it’s Tony Stark, the one and only Tony Stark — and in the aftermath of the Axis event, he will surrender to his id and his legendary ego, You’ll see Tony in a new place spiritually and intellectually.
Yes, this is Tony, What you're seeing in Superior Iron Man is a Tony Stark who’s seen both his worst and best impulses all let loose. It is Tony, but he’s going to be in a zone now where he’s never been. He's more ambitious, cunning, egotistical ... all of those quantities are unharnessed. He has a vision for the world. I like to think his position is defensible — controversial, but defensible.
After Kieron Gillen’s Iron Man run didn’t quite stick the way Fraction’s did, we are more than willing to check out a new take on the premiere hero. While the movie changes things a little fast, we think there is some potential for good stories here. Let us know if you agree or not in the comments.
