Even The Stars Will Fall is gearing up for its Kickstarter launch on 23 February. It's set to bring readers a bold new Afro‑Futurist comic that blends spiritual warfare, political tension, and deeply personal stakes. Folarin Akinmade and Bimpe Alliu are the stars behind the comic, as they aim to fund the print run of the debut issue.
Issue one introduces readers to Miki Rol as she joins the revered Choir of Ta'ad R'we. She is unaware that powerful forces are already moving to reshape her world.

Synopsis
Miki Rol is finally being inducted into The Choir of Ta'ad R'we. They are a sect of warrior-spiritualists who protect the grand city-state of Ara. But little does she know that forces are at work in the background, threatening to change her way of life.
Even The Stars Will Fall is an original Afro-Futurist tale. It explores what happens when family secrets, imperial advances, and the tension between tradition and modernity all collide.
The book comes in at 28 pages of full colour art. You can find the Kickstarter page here.
