Author: Ben Williams

Reading time: 2 minutes

Judge Dredd Megazine 486 continues the thrill after last month's landmark 35th anniversary issue, delivering another packed line-up of fan favourites. Inside, you'll find the second episodes of Armitage, Dreadnoughts, Anderson: Psi-Div, and Megatropolis, alongside a brand-new complete Judge Dredd story from Garth Ennis and Keith Burns. This is a follow-up to the classic 1985 one-off The Squadron That Time Forgot. It charts the dangerous journey of a WWII German pilot who escapes into the Cursed Earth.

Elsewhere, there are chats with Sean Phillips about the new collection of his 2000 AD work and Andreas Butzbach about his OGN Big-Ass Sword, plus a look into the contents of the 2026 Treasury and 2000 AD annuals.

Writer: Ken Niemand.

Imagine a Mega-City One from an alternate timeline – less the gleaming metropolis of the twenty-second century but instead an art deco retro-future variation. Letters: Simon Bowland.

USA, 2036 AD. The new Justice Department is still in its early years, with Judges working alongside the police. It's proving an explosive transition, with many citizens – and more than a few cops – unhappy with these helmeted officers taking to the streets. Boulder, Colorado, was a recent flashpoint, and now the Judges' influence is spreading wider to California...
