Zinezilla 2: Zinezilla Vs. Kong - Bristol's Illustration and Zine Fair Returns for Its Second Year
Last year saw the launch of a new illustration, comics and zone fair in Bristol. And it's back for a second year on Saturday, 8th October 2022 with a tagline that's grabbed our interest. Zinezilla 2: Zinezilla Vs. Kong.
Zinezilla was originally an event dedicated to the work of students at UWE (the University of the West of England) and titled ZINEZILLA: UWE Illustration + Zine Fair. And in response to the solitude of the pandemic, this year sees the fair opening up its doors to applications for tables.
Like last year, Zinezilla will be held at Strange Brew in Bristol's city centre. It's being organised by artist Mereida Fajardo and Marcy Fraser.
In a move that will hopefully appeal to many, there will be a communal table at the fair this year! The communal table is aimed at people who only have one or two things they wish to sell, who may not have enough for a full table, or have never sold anything at a fair before and are just looking for a little taster. A brilliant idea!
