WesterNoir Tales: A Haunting Return to the Wild West This Autumn

Author: Ben Williams

Reading time: 1 minute

WesterNoir Tales returns this autumn with a chilling new 180-page, full-colour collection that expands Time Bomb Comics' haunted WesterNoir universe. Created by Dave West and Gary Crutchley, WesterNoir Tales brings together various stories of western horror.

The new stories feature a wide selection of artists, using diverse styles to build out the haunted western world long-time fans know and love.

Man is not the only monster that killed in the Wild West; there were other creatures more fearsome by far.

Starring series protagonist Josiah Black and his predecessor Jim Wilson, the collection is impressive. It shows there's much more to explore in the world of WesterNoir.

  • Lure For A Monster with art by Mal Earl.
  • Kiss Of Death with art by Pedro Lopez.
  • The Letter with art by Ian Ashcroft.
  • Retribution with art by Gustaffo Vargas.
  • Black with art by Chris Przygrodzki.
  • Two Guns Ride with art by Joseph Parangue.
  • Loose End with art by Roland Bird.

  • Here by Devils

The pre-order campaign for WesterNoir Tales follows the hugely successful campaigns for volumes 1-3 and WesterNoir: Moon Cursed. Since its launch, this ever-expanding universe has found a secure place as one of the highlights of the British indie scene.

Speaking about what makes this new volume special, Dave West said, "This volume allows us to explore the world that Josiah navigates in his quests to hunt the monsters who prey on those trying to build new lives in the Wild West. It's great for Gary and I to work on stories with artists we've respected and got to know over the years."
